Okay, so excuse us while we work through some growing pains. 🙂
I am going to try to post a music video of one of my favorite songs. Crossing fingers that it works!

Hey Gloria, your code is showing. You did the same thing I did this morning — you need to put the code in the “HTML” tab and not “visual” tab. Press “edit” and you will see what I mean. 🙂

Okay, thanks Elisa! Just changed it. Hope it works!
Talk about growing pains! LOL!

I’m still seeing code, fyi.
And Elisa’s “your code is showing” strikes me as hilarious. A little like, “psst, Gloria, your slip is showing,” or something. : )

Right?!? That was exactly how I read it, too! LOL!

Matt has disappeared into the office to work on the site for a couple hours tonight. Hoping he can get a lot done towards getting us to our permanent home.
Waiting on my babysitting charges’ mom to get here to tell her what a brat her kid was this morning. She’s late, ugh

She’s LATE? Seriously? Oh my goddess. Be strong, girl.

I’m stuck. She’s not enrolling her in the after school program because they’re “abusive.” when we started the arrangement she said give her 30 days if it wouldn’t work out. Siiiigh. If the weren’t our neighbors I’d say go screw, but we have to live with them. FML I’m stuck with this kid till June. I never doing child care again. It has been awful.

June is a lot more than 30 days though!

Yeah but is it worth Going thru all the drama with neighbors to buy myself 30-40 days? Probably not
By: baker baker on March 19, 2012

Yes. Your kids’ needs have to come first. In the meantime, ask the mother what are effective ways of dealing with the brattiness. I realize she may not have an answer…

Her answer is to bribe the girl with candy to be nice to my son. Seriously.yeah well that already failed. I can count on mom for nothing. She does not discipline at all. That’s why I asked her to leave. She’s been “working”on being nicer to my son all year. Lord give me strength. I am seriously depressed over this whole mess.

Yeah, why June?30 business days? Yikes. I’m so sorry this has turned out so poorly. Blerg.

Blargh. I’m really sorry it’s so terrible. June 30 sounds really long – can you check and see what state or city law says about that? You really shouldn’t have to be held to ransom – 30 business days is far too much time for her to find reasonable accomodation elsewhere.

I know I don’t HAVE to by law. I just don’t know if it’s worth the fight to only gain a month of freedom. If I tell her 30 days, that puts us at then end of April anyway. It was a verbal arrangement of course. Worst. Idea. Ever.

It’s not June 30, it’s June 15 I think.

Wow. How on earth can she say, “Too bad. I’ll still be bringing her over”? That does make it harder that she’s a neighbor, but what would she have done if you decided to start working full-time, or was hospitalized or something? I hope she’ll think about it & you can get through to her. An extra six weeks is way too long for you to be under this stress.

I asked both filies repeatedly to make back up plans. Neither did. So MY HUSBAND had to take off work when I had the stomach flu. Oh yes I hate this. My fault for agreeing to this stupid job.

Both Families! Not fillies. Not running a racetrack here lol

So, what if your kids get chicken pox or tuberculosis? Seriously, though, no back up plans? That is bullshit. And never again, girl, have DH pinch hit – those families need to get their acts together. Jeez. People are soooo friggin’ rude. None of this is your fault, so you don’t have to bear the brunt of it for another 3 months. I’m wondering if it might be worth alienating a neighbor – not the worst thing in the world sometimes.

I think it has to do with whether or not you picked a photo in your profile as an avatar. I didn’t pick a photo, so it’s just a quilt square like yours.

But why did it pick my particular quilt square? What does it know about me??
